The La Veta Surgical Center was founded in 1988 by a group of physicians seeking to create a safe, cost-effective alternative to hospital surgical care.  Since opening, the center has served over 50,000 Orange County residents and our commitment remains unchanged.

In 2005, the La Veta Surgical Center partnered with Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA), Inc., based in Birmingham, Alabama.  SCA is one of the nation’s largest independent surgical care companies, with a network of 139 outpatient surgery centers and three surgical hospitals located in 35 states.
